Upgrading Domestic Deployments to Enterprise Specs
The hotel initially deployed domestic LG NanoCell televisions, which lacked the essential enterprise hospitality IPTV functionality required to deliver a modern, interactive guest experience. Converting a domestic display deployment into a secure, managed hospitality network posed a unique challenge. Additionally, coordinating the project remotely over multiple countries—Cameroon, Kenya, and Dubai—added technical and logistical complexity, particularly in securing the appropriate commercial licensing and configuring the central management servers remotely under strict schedules.

The Solution
LG Pro:Centric IPTV Platform & LG STB-6500 Integration
Perlogy Technologies advised the implementation of professional hospitality IPTV architecture by integrating LG STB-6500 commercial set-top boxes with the existing domestic LG NanoCell TVs. Throughout the execution phase, we provided remote support to local system integrator ROOT IT. This included detailed guidance on IPTV system architecture, Pro:Centric platform deployment, commercial STB configuration, guest interactivity setup, coordination with the LG Dubai office for commercial license activation, and critical server reset and recovery support to achieve full commissioning.
